Back in February, I came across an inspiring post from one of my all-time favorite blogs: iheart Organizing. She had a guest blogger on that day {Valentine’s Day}, sharing about how she stylized her pet’s food storage! And as I saw what she had done, I thought “What a fabulous idea! Our pets need pretty things too.” Just look at her beautiful work:

I love it! So of course I wanted to make some of my own. And while our dog Hurley doesn’t have any dog food for us to conceal since he is on a RAW diet, he does have a few treats I can make pretty canisters for. :) Here are the supplies I gathered for this project:
- large glass jar with tight fitting lid
- small jar with tight fitting lid
- dog treats
To make the canisters, alls I had to do was: put the pig ears in the large jar, put the salmon jerky in the small jar, and make vinyl labels on my Silhouette machine for each. It was a fast and easy craft project that helped organize Hurley’s dog treats into some pretty jars rather than having to store them in the unsightly packaging. Here is the finished product:
And here they are all tucked away on the laundry room shelf with the rest of the pet supplies.
I just LOVE the way they turned out, don’t you?? The jars look absolutely stunning! The vinyl labels were such an easy task to do and they definitely add a little touch of charm to the space that always puts a smile on my face! :)
